02
The Pace Platform & Independent Carrier Scope
Pace is a technology marketplace provider

Pace operates as a digital communications and dispatch marketplace. Pace does not own vehicle fleets (unless explicitly specified for pilot initiatives) and is not a public transport carrier. Transportation is rendered by independent third-party drivers who are individually licensed by Kenya's National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).

All trip estimates, fares, road tolls, and incidental charges are denominated strictly in Kenyan Shillings (KES / KSh). Payment may be settled electronically via automated M-PESA, debit/credit cards, or in cash directly to the driver partner.

Commuters may cancel a requested ride without charge within a 3-minute grace period following driver acceptance. Zero tolerance for harassment or violence

Pace enforces strict zero tolerance towards verbal abuse, discriminatory conduct, physical violence, dangerous weapons, or non-consensual contact. Riders and drivers must comply with all traffic and safety laws. Violations will result in immediate suspension, permanent blacklisting, and reporting to Kenyan law enforcement.

07
Limitation of Liability & Service Guarantees
Standard limitation under Kenyan transport law

While Pace strives for 99.9% platform availability and continuous driver vetting, services are provided 'as is'. To the extent permitted under Kenyan statutory law, Pace shall not be liable for incidental, special, or indirect delays caused by severe traffic congestion, weather events, or cellular carrier outages.
